Our range of skills and facilities enable us to provide a completely 'in-house' design and build. All equipment is designed, built and tested at our site including control systems and software from simple P.L.C.s to complex multiprocessor embedded systems.
From the outset our team will work with you to formulate a design and in most cases produce concept drawings along with budget quotations to help you integrate the concept into your production plans.
Control Systems
A major aspect of most Automation Systems is its control and human interface.
Many control systems exist for both simple and advanced applications. Examples include basic PLC’s, in built or with an M.M.I., which are commonly used for most simple applications. ATL is completely familiar with most types and have programming knowledge and software covering all popular makes.
We pride ourselves on our in-house electronics design team, who are capable of working to component level and are also able to produce complete systems with either discrete or embedded micro processors.
Our C+C programming experience allow us to employ industrial PC’s and produce custom windows based software to communicate with almost all control or office systems on the market.
In depth knowledge and experience with Servo, Stepping Motor, open or closed loop Drive Systems, Power Train, Data Transfer, Pneumatics and Hydraulics, but to name a few, gives us the depth of field to apply our control systems to precisely meet the project requirements.
Control Panel Wiring and System Hook Up is all done in-house and, as with our engineering, our electronic side is happy to take on projects not associated with our own production requirements.

CE Metering
Competence Engineering Metering & Technology is a leading Supplier and Designer of high end ultrasonic flow meters, helical turbine meters, Positive displacement meter and flow conditioners for Liquid and Gases.
CE has developed Skid a liquid flow meter range that includes fiscal and custody transfer, pipeline measurement, terminal loading and unloading, allocation metering and many others. Our flow meters are available from 3" up to more than 48" depending on technology type with flow ranges from 15 to more than 4000 m³/hr.
Our technical team has concentrated on two different technologies. The first is a PD Meter with special Rotor vanes type. The excellent performance of this type of meters is now recognized over the world. The second is based on the principle of ultrasonic transit time. This is the most advanced technology for flow measurement in use today. Our unique SKID design combines a multi-beam axially symmetric design with a fast scanning rate and real flow profile compensation thus ensuring that measurement applications from heavy oil to high gas volume fraction streams can all be covered.
